You’re welcome here—come be part of this evolving story of color, care, and transformation.
I’m Genevieve Ramos, a painter and disability advocate born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. Art found me in an unexpected chapter of my life—during recovery after a car accident that changed everything. Through painting, I discovered a new way to move, to feel, and to tell stories that words alone couldn’t hold.
My work lives at the intersection of feminism, disability, and pop culture, using bold acrylic color to reclaim beauty and power in disabled embodiment. Each piece carries emotion, memory, and resistance—turning pain into something luminous.
I create for those who believe art should move the spirit and shift culture. My collectors bring home pieces that speak of transformation and resilience. My collaborators—museums, organizations, and communities—join me in reimagining access, storytelling, and belonging.
When people engage with my work, they’re not just buying a painting—they’re investing in a world that honors interdependence, love, and disabled brilliance.
If my art or story resonates with you, I invite you to:
-Collect a painting or print that speaks to your soul through my studio store
-Collaborate or commission new work
- Deepen understanding of disability culture and inclusion through interactive workshops and artist talks
